The units are beautifully decorated with a magnificent view over the swimming pool. the personnel are very helpful. - the bed is extremely comfy. - the location is particularly good and incredible, next to the markets, making it easy to get around. - It is also right by Nomad restaurant and the vibrant medina.

Lovely little riad right in the heart of the Marrakesh souks, tucked down a side alley, so brilliant for shopping but away from the crowds. It was very helpful to be picked up from the airport the evening we arrived (offered for stays of 3 nights) because finding the riad might have been difficult otherwise, so that was much appreciated. Breakfast was usual Moroccan bread, jam, juice, tea, pancakes (which are better here than other places we stayed). When it was fine, this was served on the pretty roof terrace.
Our room (Tan Tan) was next to the stairs that come up to the first floor and continue up to the terrace which meant that on the first day we were woken by clacking footsteps and chatter outside the room. Having said that, ear plugs did the trick the next morning – it is a riad after all, so one expects some noise from the patios etc, so just a recommendation to take ear plugs.

The suite had all the basic facilities like a fireplace, central heating, and a TV. Rewritten: the suite here has everything you need, including a fireplace, central heating, and a TV.

Excellent location and very helpful staff. Spotlessly clean and very nice breakfast included. All room facilities worked well (eg aircon, hot water). The Riad would be almost impossible to find unassisted (this is a consequence of the location and the layout of the medina in Marrakech), but the Riad emailed me a few weeks beforehand to make arrangements to be met from my transport.
There was nothing I did not like about the Riad.

Very nice and friendly riad-manager. We had a family room, very well decorated and quiet. Comfortable shower and a very good breakfast outside on the terrace. Nice location, in the middle of the souks, close to the big square.
Small, a bit scarring street to the entrance of the riad

The owners were very helpful and responsive during my stay. In particular, my arriving flight was delayed by one hour but Manu, one of the owners and the person picking me up, did not complain at all. The riad was well maintained and a nice haven from the business of Marrakesh. Manu took the time when I arrived to explain the area, including how to get to and from the riad easily, things to see in the area, and answered all questions happily. Breakfast was also very nice.

Virtually EVERYTHING! The Riad is very traditional in style with an individual twist in each room. The whole place is immaculately decorated and very clean. The staff are the nicest you could ever hope for. You really get the feeling that the employees as well as the owners take a lot of pride in the Riad and it results in a really relaxed and laid back feel. You will be served your Moroccan pancakes, Morrocan breads, preserves, coffee, Moroccan tea and freshly squeezed orange juice (by the staff member just for you) whenever and wherever you like! I recommend breakfast on the roof terrace where you can watch the tiny sparrows on the roofs around you. The free Airport collection is great too removing the stress on arrival.
The location can be a little daunting at first as the Riad is down a succession of quiet, narrow, and at times dark alleyways, about 200 yards from the hustle and bustle of the Souks. However I must stress that the owners are aware of this issue and have taken the pro-active step of employing a very plesant local gentleman who sits in the same place every night, waiting to escort all the guests to the Riad door. Therefore after the first night I felt much more comfortable with the journey and it was no longer an issue. A fine example of the extra mile they go to at every level.

The value for money at this riad was excellent and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the main square, and the staff treated us like family, providing helpful advice and going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The Raid Al Mamoune is situated in the Souks of the main square in Marrakech. Ali (member of the Raid staff) met us at the square and lead us to the Raid which might have been tricky to find otherwise. Also the Raid owners contacted us before we travelled to see if we needed airport transport. We were very well looked after. The Raid itself is lovely, gorgeous mosic tiles, beautiful surroundings, plenty of areas to chill out and wonderfully quite. The room was well equipmented and traditionally decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was simple; bread, pancakes with a range of jams, freshly squeezed orange jucie and a choice of tea or coffee. Ali was always on hand to answer any questions and had a wealth of local knowledge.

The Rhiad Mamoune is in a wonderful location for convenient access to the Old Town and Souks. It is beautifully and characterfully decorated and was an island of peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of the town. Above all of these things was the level of hospitality offered. The owner Manu and his chief of staff Ali are kind and courteous, always on hand. Nothing was too much trouble-transfers, mountain trips, restaurant advice and booking, late evening meals for weary travellers etc If you want to make your trip really special I would recommend staying here.
